A Note from Carolyn on the ground in MAUI: 

Aloha, Friends, and Ohana,

It gives me great hope for our Friends and Ohana who are suffering a nightmare that no one ever dreamed of, hands down devastation, as ALOHA is spread on them and the people helping and caring for each other is like no other.

ALOHA...it is something that:
1. If you ever lived here you have experienced it and learned what it means to Spread ALOHA
2. If you have visited here I hope you felt the ALOHA
3. It is time to go dig deep in your souls, if you are connected in any way to FRIENDS, OHANA & MAUI, and help if you can. I always tell people ALOHA YOU! Because it is one word that truly means so much.

We are trying to help one family at a time and see them through this rough time until they are on their feet.

With this said, I am grateful for all the KOKUA and LOVE you have sent here, and keep sharing the ALOHA!

Our 2 families we are helping at this time have a place to stay for the moment. They have food and kids have started school. They are so humble and feel so much love from us and are so grateful.
